The SGR Series +4C refrigerators feature oversized, environmentally friendly refrigeration systems employing R134a refrigerant. These models utilize proven technology standards in the commercial refrigeration industry, but are manufactured to endure the rigors of laboratory use and carry a warranty for this application. All models employ bottom-mounted refrigeration systems with front access to reduce operating noise and easy access for condenser cleaning. The operating temperature is unparalleled to protect valuable samples. Expected temperature uniformity at +4C is arount +/- .3C depending on product loading. The exterior is constructed of heavy guage steel with a durable chip-resistant laminated vinyl coating for long-lasting durability. The interior is white-coated aluminum with a 300 series stainless steel floor with a convenient clean-out drain for easy cleaning and decontamination. The interior environment is protected by CFC-free, high-density foamed-in-place urethane insulation for optimum temperature stability. The insulated outer doors are constructed of either Low-E thermal glass panes or solid high-density urethane insulation. The glass doorframes are constructed of extruded aluminum for durability. Additional standard features include white PVC-coated wire shelves, interior lighting and high efficiency refrigeration systems for reduced operating costs.
