Most of the time, researchers lament that they experience at least four wells of evaporation loss per plate due to their current sealing film wrapping all the way up over the lip of their plates thus not creating an adequate seal. Light Labs has sought to correct this problem with this film. Optically clear sealing film made specifically for the A-3150 (semi-skirt plate). This sealing film has the four corners knicked off purposefullly in order to minimize evaporation loss when using the semi-skirted plates.
